When I think of the use of each work, summary and analyses, I think of the type of conversations people have and who uses which set-up when talking. I find that when two friends are having a conversation about how work was, the whole tone of the conversation is based on (the person who is answering) personal feelings of the day and the whole situation. Summary is based more off emotion that truth. Analysis is what science uses when conducting an experiment. This is more of strait facts and serious answers to hard questions. Analysis is more reliable and trustworthy than a summary but both are ways to simply get a point across.
